We’ve been celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Art Park all summer! Now it’s time to celebrate the actual 30th anniversary weekend of the Art Park’s founding on Sept. 6th and 7th. Here’s the official schedule of the weekend’s activities:
Saturday, Sept. 6th
10:00am-12:00pm Art Adventures with Cheddar the Corgi
This event has become a regular fixture of the Art Park summer schedule, thanks in no small part to Cheddar’s corgi-ness. The art adventure for the weekend will be either cyanotypes or monoprinting with fall leaves…depending on the weather. Free with park admission.
7-8:30pm Laughs on the Sawpath: Full Tilt Comedy at Michigan Legacy Art Park
Full Tilt Comedy Collective is coming to the Art Park to help us celebrate our 30th anniversary! Expect laughter and merriment along with light refreshments (sparkling juice and charcuterie). Come for the laughter and stay after for the full moon hike! The whole shebang will only cost you $20 and supports a good cause (helping two area nonprofits). Join us as we celebrate 30 years! Free Admission all day Free Birthday Cake Free Guided Walking Tours at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm Free Guided golf cart tours for those with mobility issues, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm (limited seating)
