Hike to the Fort with Dewey: June 26; July 10, 17, 24
Take a guided tour through the Art Park with nationally recognized artist, Dewey Blocksma. Along the way, you will discover sculptures that tell the amazing stories of Michigan's history. Once you reach the Fort, you will wind through a labyrinth, learning about Michigan history as you go. A fun activity for adults and children.
Hikes begin at 10 a.m. Check in at Park at Water's Edge, then meet at the Art Park trailhead. Each tour lasts about one and a half hours.

Join Chris Bickes, formerly an Ansel Adams Gallery staff photographer, for a photo tour through the Art Park. Learn photo tricks that can turn your summer memories into lasting stories. Bring your own camera or smart phone. No experience necessary.

Sketching with Deborah: July 5, 12, 19, 26
Artist Deborah Crandell will lead a class in outdoor sketching – studying form in relation to the environment and focusing on wooded landscapes. Artists of all abilities are invited to attend the informal workshops to study shape, form, texture, and contrast in changing values. Materials will be provided by the instructor; see material fee below.
