Angie joined the art park staff in August 2021, bringing over 20 years of non-profit administration, programming and donor development experience and over 20 years of exploring Northwest Michigan with her family. She has her MA from Indiana University in Anthropology, and recently completed the Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) from the Indiana University Lily Family School of Philanthropy.
When not at work at the Art Park, Angie works as co-owner of the Pembroke Bakery & Café, Northern Indiana’s award-winning vegan and gluten-free bakery and café, with her husband. She also serves on the board of Bicycle Indiana and the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society. In her spare time, she walks and rides trails and roads slowly, but with determination, grows heirloom plants in her small urban garden and volunteers as a master naturalist around the community. When asked why Michigan Legacy Art Park is important, she replied, “I love the synergy of Michigan Legacy Art Park. Many people visit here to see the art, but then discover nature. And others visit here for the nature, and then discover art. I’m excited to continue to bring this connection to the community.” Angie can be reached at [email protected] or 231-378-4963.
