Have you been waiting for an excuse to visit Michigan Legacy Art Park?
Monday, April 24 is International Sculpture Day, a worldwide celebration advancing the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. It is a day to create a unified community championing sculpture.
There are many places to enjoy sculpture in northern Michigan, including right here at Michigan Legacy Art Park.
In celebration of International Sculpture Day, we are offering free admission to all guests that day. Here’s the perfect excuse to get outdoors and enjoy Michigan Legacy Art Park this spring!
Artists After Hours
The Art Park is also excited to host the monthly Artists After Hours Event. This event is a collaboration between Crosshatch and Blackbird Arts, and is a great chance for area artists to network, get to know one another, and just enjoy socializing together.
We will take a special tour of the park with MLAP Artistic Director, Kaz McCue, then enjoy drinks and social time at nearby Iron Fish Distillery.
All area artists and art lovers are invited to attend. For those traveling from Traverse City, you can arrange carpool rides on the Facebook event page.
