Join poet Fleda Brown at the the Michigan Legacy Art park for a unique poetry workshop on Saturday, October 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fleda will guide workshop participants in examining sculptures in the Art Park as models for approaching their own writing. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to share their hot-off-the-press drafts with Fleda and each other. Fleda Brown is Professor Emerita, University of Delaware, a faculty member of the Rainier Writing Workshop, and 2001-2007 Poet Laureate of the State of Delaware.
Cost per person is $50.00. Proceeds benefit Michigan Legacy Art Park. Youth, ages 13 to 17 who have a great interest in creative writing, are welcome to accompany a parent free of charge to the workshop.
