Northwest Michigan Student Sculpture Exhibit
Students from Brethren High School, Frankfort High School, Interlochen Arts Academy, and the Leelanau School were invited to create sculptures for an exhibit at Michigan Legacy Art Park.

We were very happy to once again host a group of young people in collaboration with Arts for All Northern Michigan.

Michigan Legacy Art Park is proud to be collaborating with the City of Novi, Mich. to present the David Barr Legacy Artist Residency program. This new opportunity for artists is inspired by the work and life of sculptor and Art Park founder David Barr.

Here’s a great chance to share Michigan Legacy Art Park with a friend! Join us at Taproot on February 6 from 4-6pm for a meet-and-greet to learn a little about the Art Park and the many different ways you can get involved. Taproot is offering app and drink specials for the event as well, so come and enjoy!
Artist Residency Makes Broad Impact on Area Students
Theresa Smith’s residency at the Art Park this fall was a wonderful demonstration of how various components of our mission can be integrated into a single program. Her six weeks not only included the opportunity for the artist, but also an incredible education experience and a community event.
